The book consists of 15 lessons, with vocabulary aligned with the 200 words required by the HSK 3.0 syllabus, slightly expanded, and covers 45 language points. Texts are presented as short situational dramas, with storylines arranged in a coherent sequence. The characters and plots are interconnected yet relatively independent. The lessons’ content, vocabulary, and language points fully align with the topics, tasks, vocabulary, grammar, and Chinese characters specified in the HSK 3.0 syllabus. As a supporting curriculum for the HSK 3.0 examination, New HSK Course series emphasizes a learner-centered approach and aims to integrate HSK examination preparation with Chinese language learning, striving to achieve mutual promotion of assessment, teaching, learning, and application.
